How long had you been relaxing your hair?
My first relaxer was at age 18—I’ve gotten them on and off since then.When did you stop relaxing your hair and start going natural?
I really kicked off this transition 14 months ago when I made the decision to stop using a relaxer. Since then, I flat ironed my hair weekly, but even cut this out two months ago when I realized my natural curl was being jeopardized by the heat.
